Annabelle Slinger is eighteen years old and an aspiring landscaper, though the majority of her work is just mowing (hey, you've got to pay the bills somehow). Being the only person in her household with a steady paycheck, her and her family are just scraping by. Her father, an inventor, was supposed to showcase a new, revolutionizing invention at a county fair that would make all their monetary troubles disappear, but he never makes it. Instead, he gets into a car accident and disappears. Now it's up to Annabelle to find her missing father, and solve the mystery of the creepy house, and its owner, that resides behind the crash scene.
