Jay West and his friends are all alone. Stuck in a world without superhumans, they try to adjust to living as regular people.

When an incident causes Jay to use his powers in public, he becomes a target of people he didn't know existed. A secret organization is out for blood. He'll need his friends more than ever to conquer this new threat.

Or, at least, that's what he thinks. Soon, he realizes he made a mistake when he chose Afterlight. But will his friends see it that way? Or will they become his enemies forever?

In the second book to the Power series, he will have to up his game to keep up with reality as he knows it. But is everything really as it seems in the world of Jay West?

"You're... not afraid?" His voice was barely a peep, shy gaze half-turning away but still watching him out of the corner of his eye. His hand instinctively reached for the pendant at his chest, tips of his finger grazing the crystal and ready to grasp it, somewhat afraid of the answer that would come next. "Why would I be afraid? You're like the coolest person I've met so far! Plus-" He poked his side, and George squeaked, jumping back from the ticklish sensation. "You're so scrawny and small. I'd never be afraid of you!" George never wanted to be one of them. But at eight years old, he discovered he was a Psychic and he was committed into a faraway island academy for Extramundanes. Despite the difficulty of making friends when even other super-powered classmates are afraid of you, George finds a tight-knit group of best friends who aren't afraid to stand up for him. Yet with age comes his developing abilities, and as he grapples for control, the disappearance of one of his best friends leads George and his friends on a runaway road trip to rescue him. However, they fail to realize their true adversary is the threatening power searing inside one of their own. --- ! So many people may not know this story and all so I figured I'd post it here. [COMPLETED] ••Reached #1 in adventure on 04/07/2019•• ••Reached #2 in hero on 05/16/2019•• ••Reached #3 in fiction on 05/20/2019•• Arlo Sanders wakes up one morning to discover that he wet the bed. I know what you're thinking and no, he didn't pee himself. He had developed super powers. At first, he was in denial, but inevitably came to the understanding that he is now a Super, and if he has powers, he might as well use them for something other than picking up hot chicks. Now, not only does he have to deal with school, his almost non existent social life and his aggravating younger brother, but he also has to fight super villains and learn to control his new found powers to avoid blowing his cover to the world...and it is a lot harder than he anticipated. Prepare for a roller coaster ride of lame one liners and painfully awkward adolescent behaviour, along with bromances and romances, breakups and make ups, and even some cliché superhero behaviour, villains who hold a grudge, and really dorky super suits. Oh... and angry, rampaging squirrels.
