Jay West and his friends are all alone. Stuck in a world without superhumans, they try to adjust to living as regular people.

When an incident causes Jay to use his powers in public, he becomes a target of people he didn't know existed. A secret organization is out for blood. He'll need his friends more than ever to conquer this new threat.

Or, at least, that's what he thinks. Soon, he realizes he made a mistake when he chose Afterlight. But will his friends see it that way? Or will they become his enemies forever?
