Each person is assigned to anyone of importance -president, celebrity, etc.-, and for you, you had been assigned to Dave Strider. Once someone tries to kill or harm the person you are assigned to, you must protect them the rest of their life and make sure that they don't die, even if you do.

A Day Without Me
I don't know what's going on, I just know that my name is Izzy Wallawer and that I am my friends guardian angel. I'm slowly uncovering horrible things about my life and hers too. I don't even know where I'm at or how I got here. But I know I'm safe here. Every time I think of someone I know, or, knew really, something kind of zooms me into what that person is doing and I can see them just as if I'm with them. But they can't see me. That's the bad part Every now and then at night, well, their night, when I have nothing to do but watch them sleep(which I think is kind of creepy), I get sort of visions, flashbacks really, of things that I don't understand. It's really weird. I guess I'll figure it out someday though because the flashbacks are coming more often and lasting longer. I just hope that I can one day return to my friends and family, but I feel like there's something bigger than me that has a role in this and I feel like I won't be able to go home until it's over with.Complete
