Winter has played on many instruments as a child, but what should have been been a simple hobby of enjoyment soon became a thing she had to do as a forced business made by her twisted father, and her twisted secrets, and gossip about her haven't been helping...Now turning 17 Winter takes her fate into her own hands as she applies to an elite music school, for only the very best after highschool...and when she's accepted her father is one of the many who she doesn't tell, but as she gets there it isn't at all what it seems. The Southerners of America and Northerners were at war and being a skilled musician meant your skills of athletics, perception, vision and more, are often somewhat improved. And because of this the school makes these musicians into something with a bit more of a twist.. Assassin's. (Action, romance, fighting, adventure..slightly, mystery, dystopian future, and tragic pasts and possibly tragic futures....haha)

"Life is a game of chess. You are the player and everything you could make use of is in your hands. Kill, manipulate and adapt. There are blunders, mistakes as well as opportunities on the board waiting to be made." An assassin's life is pretty simple. Once you get a job, just follow the orders and end a miscreant's life. That's it. That's how Gaela lived her whole life, following orders of the higher ups and ending lives with her close group of acquaintances. She have no family, no emotions let alone will to live, always ready to die in a mission. One day, she receives an important mission that her close group of acquaintances cannot interfere with; protect David Moon, a young aspiring chess player who attends St. Peter's, a prestigious secondary school with the title as the Quintessential Chessman. How could an assassin who specialises with marksmanship protect someone who is targeted by many without realising without the help of her acquaintances? How would someone like Gaela adapt to a normal school life in order to protect David? What are the chances of Gaela meeting famous enquiry agents that can put her life in danger as well as famous serial killers and thieves in her fabricated school life? Pretty low right..? Right?? Watch as Gaela trudges through her mission to protect David Moon, doing side missions, making friends and learning what 'emotions' truly means on the way. •Prequel to 'Valerie's Interest'•
