Elice becomes a Gift Giver, and is exactly what it sounds like...she grants human wishes, and when she has to grant Kia Yoira's wish, she finally realises her purpose, and how even such a wonderful place has to have its dark sides.

I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people.
