Meet Melissa Baker, a senior girl who lives a happy life with her best friend, Alexandra Stewart, and her prankster twin brother, Michael Baker. Melissa never has been good in school unlike Alex, who is your typical nerdy outcast. So, when her teacher, Mr. Phillip, assigns her a tutor because she is failing chemistry, she flips out. Mostly because her tutor is Jake Rivera, a nerdy outcast just like her best friend but unlike him she's not reserved and is easy to work with. Jake always sits alone and talks to no one, many people say that it's because he's a serial killer, but who believes in rumors.
Along the way she gets to know him, and maybe even develop some feelings *wink wink*. But will he let her in his life? Will he tell her the reason he's always been reserved? And will Melissa leave him because of his "little" problem? I guess you'll have to read to find out.

An Unexpected Moment
... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. Have you ever liked some guy that is popular, attractive and yet annoying, rude, mean at the same time? I'm sure nearly every girl has. I opened my mouth to give it back to him--- "STOP." The headmaster yelled, the pulse in his temple was throbbing red in fury.
