Darkness (noun):

1. Darkness is the absence of light. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light, but if you have no light, you have nothing; and that nothing is called darkness. In reality, darkness isn't. The sole purpose of the word is to describe something that only exists as a counter part to his brother; to describe something that cannot be described. But there is another meaning to the word.

2. Wickedness or Evil.

When the word is used in this context, there is no question in its existence. There is no negotiating that it is simply the absence of light. You cannot escape the reality of it's being. Just because darkness may be the absence of light, do not for one-second think it does not exist; because that second is when you will find yourself most vulnerable.

"Indeed, the duality in creature powerful enough to save the world means only that they have the power to destroy it."
