Terra Mythicalis: Gem

They are Earth bound, in the human realm where they do not belong. Mythical creatures trapped by a dark spell, cast by a dark Goddess in ancient times. With the history forgotten, these twelve species live out their days in tension with each other, hiding from humans in plain sight and keeping to themselves.
In the skies their Gods wait for their prophesied chosen ones to emerge among them all and join forces to return to their homeland.
How will these heroes prevail with every dark force on Earth trying to stop them?

GEM; ALWAYS FIGHT FOR WHAT IS RIGHT
Penn is stuck.
She wishes she could say her options were simple, but that would be a lie.
The first and easiest, was to bow to the usurper of her parent's throne, King Kelvin, days before it was set to be hers. She would have to renounce her title as Princess, hand over her royal powers and witness her family's execution.
Second and with great peril, she may go looking through the ocean for the Royal Gems. They belong in the family crown, which her mother shattered and cast out so that Kelvin may never gain the full powers of the Reef. Kelvin sends his children out to scour the oceans for these pieces of power.
With those options, Penn knows she must do what is right. Armed with her royal magic, the skills she has hoarded and her closest companions, the search for the five royal gems begins.
Either way, Penn is still going to be Queen. If she beats Kelvin's daughters and sons to the gems and returns her family to power, she will be Queen the next day. If she fails and Kelvin gets them, she will be Queen decades later.
Because no matter how much she wishes to deny it and reject him, Kelvin's youngest son Dathan is her Soulmate.
