The Higgins family inherited an old plantation property in southwest Louisiana.  They decide to relocate to fix it up and sell it.  They soon find that the property won't be as easy to fix up as they thought considering the alligators in the pond, treasure hunters digging holes, and yes, the property is haunted.  Patricia, the teenage daughter develops a strong relationship with her great grandfather, a ghost, and together are able to resolve the current problems as well as the past ones.

17th Century United States-Daniella De Exter had it all. She was an only child to a wealthy man, she never wanted for anything. Until one day, her father married Evil Lucinda Darcey. Present Day United States- Every Year, the De Exter Plantation is publicly open on Halloween Night. It is known to be the most haunted location in all of Louisiana. Every Halloween a lottery is drawn in the small town of Exter, the winners win an all night pass to the grounds and the house. Complete lock-down from dusk til dawn. This year 21 Year old Hunter Brigley and his 7 year old sister Hope and 2 others are forced onto the plantation well before the lockdown and its a struggle from the moment the gate closes to stay alive. Hunter uses his common sense and logic to his advantage, but soon fear of loosing his sister overwhelms him and he soon finds out is just how confusing and distorted reality gets once inside the Plantation walls. He has to risk everything just to save his and his sisters life. And being descended from the very family that the ghost who supposedly haunts the plantation killed, doesnt put the odds in there favor.
