Adeline Warner grew up thinking that in order to be successful in life she had to be extremely independent and quick to adapt to changing environments. Her muggle mother, Kendra Warner, was a savvy business woman, who was barely ever found doing something other than her work, found herself quite nervous of her daughter because she was able to make the unexplainable happen. Without a father, Adeline found herself being homeschooled by her nanny, who became more of a mother to her than the woman who gave birth to her. Of course, Kendra loved her daughter, but she felt as though because she was different, she made a gap between the two of them. When an odd woman arrived on her birthday one year, revealing that her daughter was a witch, Kendra found all the strange happenings finally being explained. Though still wary, she made a little more of an effort to get to know her daughter before she was sent off to boarding school. Sirius Black and James Potter were infamous for being quite mischievous. With their friends, Remus Lupin and Peter Petigrew, they formed a group called The Marauders. They fancied pulling practical jokes on the other students, often getting the four in trouble with the teachers. Adeline tries to stay on the safe side of things by staying away from the group, but that proves rather hard when she finds herself becoming good friends with Remus. It's really only a matter of time until she begins to attract the attention of the other boys.
