"S-sorry?" I choked out, rapidly paling. Its amazing how three words can affect someone so badly. He's GOT to be kidding me. Its just... impossible. I refuse to believe it. He didn't say that. He couldn't have. He wouldn't. "We are partners," he repeated in his sarcastically slow voice. He did. ------------------------------------- Crissane's plan for senior year: 1. Study 2. Avoid the male population at all costs 3. Get that scholarship While everybody saw her as the friendless freak, nobody knew her passion. Cooking. When she walked through the doors of Pristine High for her final year, she expected it to be full of cooking and avoiding people, like always. Besides, she needed to focus on getting that scholarship that she'd been dreaming of for years. Problem. She ended up being paired up with someone. Not too big of a deal, until she learns HE'S clueless in the kitchen. If he could tell apart kitchen utensils, she did not know. Who knew that she'd been brewing herself a pot of disaster? If only she'd known that there was more to that quiet kid that nobody knew, she could've avoided all that drama that year and continued her life as a loser. She wouldn't let this stop her. So much for sticking to the plan. She HAD to get the scholarship. Besides... things change for the better, right?

There's a saying that, "you don't know what you've got until it's gone," and there's also this one that says, "regret always comes in the end." • • • Third had to live his days wearing those phrases around his neck for two years since he lost Carla - the ultimate reason for him to be happy. He lost her to leukemia and since then, happiness died along with her. At the very young age of sixteen, Third fell hard on her and she to him. They made promises that last forever and they never had a single moment of sadness. Though very young, the love they felt for each other defined the true meaning of it than for couples who were much older than them. But life is truly unfair, it took her away from him forever. All their promises will never be fulfilled as well as the love that burned like wildfire for them extinguished. She died. He died too. When he had to go back to Manila to pursue college, he met Sweet, not the sweetest girl but the most irritating classmate he ever had. She'd pester him everyday until he gives her his attention but would end up quarreling. She liked him but he would not feel the same for her. He despises her. But then life took its impossible turn. Just when Third is ready to forget the past with Carla, when he discovered that there's going to be a nearly impossible present between him and Sweet because of an incident that involves the future. Would he let her run away and just take away his heart that easy? After losing someone very dear to him in the past, would he let another one go without fighting really hard? Seriously, losing someone you love is difficult, but losing another one who made you someone better is a disaster.
