Isaac Dumfries is a peculiar child. He grew up without any parents; sought himself schooling and applied to attend Frierhill School. His IQ levels bursting through the roof and his conscientious nature earning him companions and trust within the teachers but deep down- he was a complete outcast. The students shunned his scruffy appearance, his intelligence and the way he thought. Isaac always his behind the corner at break and watched the 'Normal' world unfold before his eyes; trying to learn what others considered to be normality. After watching his peers for months; Isaac eventually begins to act like them to try and fit in. However it tragically backfires and he ends up manacled by the police and monitored by the doctors. Persistently Isaac seeks acceptance within a society of clone-like aliens which arn't willing to call him their own. Isaac tumbles into a spiral of insecurity and the only people that are willing to offer their help are the teachers of Frierhill. But as the Christmas holidays approach, Isaac won't be protected for the longest two weeks of his life. Will Isaac come out unscathed or will the elements slowly whither the remaining light from his soul?
