"Kia..." I asked pushing the door slowly open. I stood in the door way with only the light of the full moon helping me see a figure squatting down in the corner of the room. I stood there as I watched the figure sobbed and stood up. "Kia, what's wrong?"
I watched as she turned around slowly. My eyes widen in disbelief as I saw the blood running down chin and as her eyes glowed. Tears began to run down her face before she dropped what was in her hand. "Tyler... help me..."
Tyler the school's it guy and Kia the school's quiet nerd always loved each other. Best friends for most of their life, their basically inseparable. Tyler always made it his duty to protect her no matter what, but he couldn't protect her for what happens next.
