After her mother dies from a long battle with Parkinson's disease, Clara decides that she needs to get away from the growing stress of her mourning. Her good friend, Natasha, suggests that they go to her parents' vacation home during the summer to unwind. Clara was grateful for the offer, and the two girls, along with a few other friends, pack up a few of their belongings as they head off for a vacation by the lake. However, their fun times are soon diminished to rubble when they discover that something vicious in the water is preying on the now motherless Clara.
