Star Trek AU which is very close to the AOS universe.

Lyra A. Cadwell, or rather Dr. Lyra Cadwell had just finished her PhD in Astrophysics. At 17. She has wanted to enlist in Starfleet ever since she was born. Her father was her inspiration, and still is, however he was murdered 4 years ago. Everything was fine, until it turned out she had much larger obligations, and responsibilities, to an entire county.

She meets the entire enterprise family, including a man named Jim Kirk. He is the complete opposite of her, but in many ways, the same. Very similar... They help and support eachother through all challanges and become a power couple.
