For 16 year old Skyler Smith life couldn't be more normal. Besides the fact that she skipped a grade because she was very smart, she lived the life of an average teenager. She enjoyed going to school, got good grades, and was on the school's girls' soccer team alongside her best friend, Sophia.
Everything was going as planned until her parents informed her that they had to go on a business trip to Australia for indefinite time. Initially, Skylar was fine with said news as she thought it would be nice to have some freedom.
That was until her parents clarified that instead of being left alone, she would be living with an old friend of her mother's. Skylar was a bit deflated, but comforted that she would be able to stay in her hometown. However it seemed life has something against her as next, her mother announced that she would be living with Mr. and Mrs. Harrison and their 9 sons and that she should go pack as she would be flying to California the following day. All she could do now was hope for the best.
