Their Sister

The guard dash down the corridors in search for the queen. Till he approached the doors to her chambers, he didn't know what to tell her. He was then summoned and walked in with his arm holding something small and delicate, much too fragile to drop.

"Something wrong," The queen asked, looking up from her spell book. The guard bowed down his best and looked back up at the queen.

"A child was placed upon the palace steps and thought that you might want to see her before I decided to take her to the orphanage," the guard said.

The queen took the girl in her arms gazing down upon the baby with blue eyes laced with green. She smiled, knowing her two young sons would love to have a sister. She held the child to her arms whispering her name.

"Angela"
