Feeling lost

Feeling lost is a book about a young deep brown haired girl, who went through a tragic incident when extremely young. The poor young girl has grown up without a family or home. She stumbled across a small hut when walking through the woods. She goes up to the hut knocking and knowing that there would be no answer, just as she expected. No answer. She walked into the small hut and encounters a small raccoon she names 'Sooty'. Sooty is a raccoon who can talk. They go on adventures together, until they walk into a cave and someone or something traps them in the cave, while trapped and stranded in the cave Sooty and the young girl get separated and can't find each other. While in the cave the young girl finds out more about her family and the tragic incident that happened when she was just a young little girl. She is shocked in what she finds. She never knew her name was Amelia, after finding that information out she tries to find Sooty. After 2 days she finds Sooty..... but something wasn't right. He wasn't moving! A red thick liquid was around the small raccoon. Amelia tried to wake her friend but nothing happened, not even a stir. Amelia just realized what her friend was. Dead. She felt salty tears spread through her eyes and fall down onto her cheeks.

Can Amelia get her friend back? Or will she have to fend without him by her side?
