Marinette Dupain-Cheng just moved from her small, suburban town in Italy to the great city like Paris. All she can think abut is how this will affect her fighting career, and as she starts her first sight see, her life is threatened. Just when she thinks she can handle Marinette, her body is flung to the side by her savor--Adrien Agreste.
With a meeting only described as destiny, both Marinette and Adrien start facing the truth about each other.
One already seeking to find out more about the new girl Marinette Cheng as the other is scraping to find out more about her witty partner.

He shrugged and sat on the floor near her, staying clear of the train on the dress. "I actually needed a girl's advice." She raised her brow quizzically. "Okay... what does the 'ladies man' need to know?" Referencing the most recent interview he did. "Oh, come on. I didn't expect them to keep that part in the interview." She giggled. "It was funny, I'm glad they kept it in." He flicked her exposed leg through the dress slit. "Okay, but I just had a question about Ladybug." Marinette swallowed hard at the mention of herself. She suddenly felt like she shouldn't be hearing this because she was Ladybug. "Okay, shoot it." He bit his lip, maybe unsure how to word it. "Well... I kinda tried to court her for at least the last 7 months. She didn't accept it, and I finally accepted that myself... but I guess my question is why she might not have wanted me. I'm sorry, I'm not even sure you could answer that... It just seems like Ladybug trusts you, so maybe she mentioned something to you?" -- Marinette Dupain-Cheng, a usually stubborn, headstrong girl, finally gives up on liking Adrien Agreste.
