Brandy had been insecure about love while Myles was insecure about himself. Through their insecurities, they taught each other how to be more embracing of the things they hid away. However, it had been the wrong time for Brandy to enter his life and their love had been more bittersweet.
Then a woman who went by the name of Elise Ann Julien entered Myles's life. For once, everything was right and his heart ached for her. Myles loved her. Yet, it was as if she was something he couldn't have. This didn't stop him from fighting for what he wanted, though, and he wanted her in his life.

Finn has been the man of the house since he was a child. I was dealing with a lot at the time so I came up with this book idea, where both main characters have dramatized aspects of myself in them, as a way to make myself feel lovable, so writing this now is a nostalgic and creative way of looking back, processing, and letting go of the emotions I was going through as an adolescent.
