Summary: Andrew Nalizar began his journey as a newly made orphan. With his parents' deaths glooming over him, Nalizar is determined to be the best rithmatist at Maineford Academy. But when he meets April Taylor, his life takes on a different path.
"The Rithmatist" is a book written by the brilliant Brandon Sanderson. Rithmatists use chalk to defend and attack: their drawings of creatures--chalklings--come to life to follow orders, and their circles defend the people inside them.
In "The Rithmatist," Andrew Nalizar is introduced as a handsome, yet arrogant newly hired professor at Armedius Academy. He wants to prove to everyone he is the strongest and that it's either his way or the highway.

In this fanfiction, I have written a headcanon backstory for Sanderson's character, Andrew Nalizar. The majority of this story is not canon (but the facts at the ending are, as revealed in the source material's own ending chapters) and is based purely on my own ideas and headcanon.

Zayne, Xavier, and Rafayel decide to band together to go after the Main Lead in the N109 zone. It has been too long since her departure into the dangerous territory, and fearing for her safety, the three meet and band together to save her.
