Shimmer Lake (TAKING BREAK)
It's 1917 in the tiny town of Cobbingham, England. Rowena Griffinson turns 18 tonight. And all 17 years of her disappointing life have been spent in the Griffinson Manor, up until now. No friends. Ahana and Manvika met in New York and became soul sisters. Ahana, an orphan, never experienced a parent's love, while Manvika had a family that never cared for her. Despite their painful pasts, they became each other's strength. But a horrific accident changed their lives forever. The tragedy left Ahana needing facial reconstruction surgery-giving her an identical face to Manvika. Now, Ahana lives as Manvika, hiding her true identity. Meanwhile, the real Manvika was left paralyzed, losing half of herself, including her voice, as her vocal cords were damaged beyond repair. Ahana concealed the truth, while Manvika, drowning in self-hatred, wished for death. But can love find its way back to them? Will they ever get the justice they deserve?
