Dan was blind. But he could see. It might sound confusing but it's really not. Dan was so cut out from his own world he couldn't see someone's emotions, what the were feeling. If someone said "I feel sad" Dan wouldn't understand it or realize that that person was sad. It sounds a bit selfish for him to be so antisocial he didn't care but he really tried to. Dan just couldn't seem to understand making him believe he was blind from emotion, he only felt sadness so maybe he was blind from other emotions or he felt so sad he could only care about his own emotion. Well he did think that until a ray of sunshine shined over him. Phil. Dan could feel happiness. Dan could smile. But how long would that last?

Dan is quiet and never in a very good mood. Due to the bully at school and his general home life, he's depressed and he doesn't like to eat much as it only makes him more depressed. Dan truly just wants to be loved. Phil is usually always happy, his home life may be scattered but he for the most part doesn't let it bother him, and he seems to just go with the flow, that is until Dan catches his attention and Phil makes a decision to stick up for Dan. But why ? {told in both Dan and Phil's points of view} {mentions of bullying, depression, torture, strong language, and is overall just very sad.}
