Annmarie Wersley returned to Fowl Manor and lived along side Artemis for two years. Two years filled with things neither of them thought they would ever have, especially with each other. But it was wonderful none the less, and they were thankful Artemis did what he had to do.
A little after those two years, Artemis and Annmarie are still living the life much different than the one that they had first known each other in. But things change fast when Annmarie is taken hostage by someone. Slowly the pieces come together as Artemis figures out how this happened, and discovers that this isn't unfamiliar at all, and that the puzzle pieces are replicas of one completed years before. Soon, Artemis discovers he knows this man. Yes, Artemis knows this man, and knows him well. (This book is a sequel. If you are interested please first read the first book. Maeve, was a quite unique girl. Whoever witnessed her smile or laugh was instantly intoxicated by her presence, and thats what happened to a particular twin who's eyes had been roaming the Great Hall when he laid his sight on a particular Hufflepuff. She grew up learning from a young age that she was a witch. Her parents surrounded her with magic and Magical Creatures. Her grandfather left her dad his studies and animals. Her first pet was a Puffskein, not your average household pet for most, but for her it was just perfect. Except when it stuck its tongue up her nose when she was napping. But none the less, she grew up happy and surrounded with love and magic. She knows that her last name is kind of out there, people stop her parents all the time saying that they respected her grandfather and his findings. She's read his book a bunch of times, but she didn't understand why he was so popular. He was just her nutty gramps who loved the magical beast. But I guess, because he showed the world the amazing finds we have in our world living with us, she could admit he was pretty cool.
