The world or shall I say whats left of it; was fucked from the begging. We were metaphorically zombies before we became literal ones. Heads down clutching our phones in one hand and our vanity in the other. Self-centered, one main goal...to reach as many followers as possible. Like zombies they follow the noise, the trend, the same direction in which the crowd are heading and that's why what's left of the world was fucked from the begging; all except those of us who were human found pleasure in something other than ourselves we were the realists. The zombies, well they ate us alive, in school on the streets. We didn't follow the trend so we were torn limb from limb some of us sewing ourselves back together again, the rest either turning or killing themselves before they did. But the rare few misfits stood their ground and that's why we are here... Lyra adams a seventeen year old girl is faced with huge challenges when The zombies attack. she has more than one life in her hands hers and her baby brothers noah but when they reach the base that all changes that's when she meets jude. THE RISKS

"You can't tell me there isn't something here worth risking everything for." [New Adult Apocalyptic Romance] Summary: There are some things that you can't outrun. That becomes all the more obvious when the world is ending, when there's nothing left but the feral creatures that were once people, consumed now by a virus that's made them cannibalistic and ravenous. It might just be easier to end it all, but Claire still has one last thing to fight for. Her younger sister. And she intends to keep her safe, no matter the cost. So, with no other options and her sister in tow, Claire ventures out into the dangers of this new, unforgiving world in search of safety, security, and answers to some long burning questions. The first two things -along with some new, unexpected questions- she finds in an unlikely place: a stranger who she's become indebted to. She has a feeling he can help her answer all her questions, if she can allow herself to fully trust him. Trust, she thinks, is a fragile thing. Humanity, a construct. Love, a weakness. But these are the thoughts of a survivor, and she's beginning to wonder if surviving is all she wants. Maybe she wants to live.
