Daenerys Nightbrook is a Bosmer, who is stuck living in Windhelm after her home in Valenwood was attacked by the Thalmor. She faces harassment and discrimination from some of the Nords there, but always tries to keep a smile on her face. 

But one day she is forced to pack up and leave. Her journey takes her to the rugged mountains of The Reach, the hallowed halls of Jorrvaskr and the battlefield of a war-torn Skyrim. 

In the midst of it all Daenerys finds herself with a strange attraction to someone she should definitely stay away from. Could it be her undoing?All Rights Reserved

I'm hoping it's equally enjoyable for those who've played the game and those who haven't. Trigger warnings: rape is mentioned, one is attempted and prevented, but none are completed. Some other sexual assault. The first chapters are PG-13, but later ones become R-rated. (Feedback on appropriate ratings appreciated.) Skyrim is part of the Elder Scrolls series of games, copyright by Bethesda Softworks. The image for the book cover is from the game. I've only posted Part I here, but will soon post the rest (four parts total, 62 chapters). I've worked in nonfiction up to now because it's easier for me to describe places and events I can experience first-hand. I'm hoping that writing this fanfic will be a bridge to doing more of my own fiction.
