A story based on the anime Suisei no Gargantia or Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet.
This is centered on my own character Nova, a soldier and lieutenant of the Galactic Alliance of Humanity who, along with Ledo (the original main character), gets sucked into a wormhole while attempting to defeat the alien species known as Hideauze.
When they wake up on a strange planet how will they survive? How will they learn the ways of the people inhabiting it, and how will they ever find a way to home?

Children Of Gaia
Emerging from a dystopian future, a generational space station heads away from Earth in search of a new home. Gaia Station is run by the charismatic AI sharing the same name. Expeditions take place as the smaller, faster Titans seek out and verify the viability of new potential worlds. By chance, four childhood friends find themselves all on the same Titan bound for a new world; where unprecedented discoveries and dangers await them. This is my first work, which I began notes for in 2014. Currently working on revisions. Happy reading. One is a young British pilot born and raised in combat who is haunted by horrible memories, while the other is an American pilot who has never seen combat but has never found anything or anyone that can best her. In the year 3230, after The Second Big Bang, Captain Gaia, together with doctor Westy Wood decide to start a space organization that would save the species of the universe by building an artifficial planet that's made out of the ruins of the destroyed planets and share it in 6 factions(liquid, flame, stone, air, chaos and order) all based on the solar systems she discovers. At one point she discovers two beings(Latika and X) that help her travel in time long before the incident. There she will find a otaku in the 12th grade and use her advanced technollogy to give him powers like Rinnegan and Byakugan, regeneration, danger sense and a hyper agility to make him the perfect soldier due to an old story. This is not an Apocalypse
The world is changing, two years ago strange weather, various anomalies and strange creatures started appearing from nowhere all over the world. Some creatures were completely alien and others were familiar looking as if they'd stepped from myth and legend. What many of these creatures had in common however was their aggressive nature and predatory instinct. Things that go bump in the night, that shifting shadow in the dark alley way, the cracking branch right behind you. Nightmarish creatures now stalk the land. Monsters. That isn't the only change in a new world however, humans have also changed. Some unknown phenomenon has granted humanity access to incredible power. The very elements themselves can now be wielded by those willing to risk the dangers. Earth, wind, fire, water, suddenly magic has become possible in a modern world and there are many who are eager to develop and embrace their newfound power and help protect their fellow man from monsters. There are also many who are willing to make a profit from newfound opportunities this changing world provides. Unfortunately for our MC Jack, embracing newfound power and going out to valiantly battle monsters isn't quite as simple as most other people have it. He possesses the rare and not so sought after lightning element, considered the weakest element for certain reasons, pitied and looked down upon Jack is determined to become a successful monster hunter in a more and more dangerous world. A slow burn story with world building, dungeon delving, character progression, Litrpg elements and more. WARNING - The MC is not a Mary Sue, he is not super competent, or super powerful or super intelligent nor a paragon of virtue, just a normal guy in a not so normal situation and him growing to deal with it in his own way.
