Our Time

Samantha Berne is a girl who's grandfather and father work for the Mercedes racing team involved in F1. Her, however, works for something more general, like F1 itself. Alongside being forced to go to every race an F1 driver is involved with, she has to judge the teams, their workload, understand the cars, like and become best friends with the F1 drivers, and hang around the engineer rooms attempting to cross the pit lane in order to not be hit. She has a perfect job, doesn't she?

This is basically her life in 2016.

Note: AU where all drivers are single (surprisingly) and there are F1 personnel situated in each garage for the teams. They switch each Grand Prix.
