If there's one thing we've established upon reading her story with Marven, it is that Laurette is awful at expressing herself verbally. She could never voice how beautiful she thought something was, how thrilling the touch of someone was or how much she's wanted to help a person in need. So what does she do? She writes them down.

Over the course of four years, Laurette has written numerous unsent letters to the people she's wanted to work things out with, and those she wanted to inspire. Her fear of rejection has kept her in the way of delivering them, but now that her peers are graduating and possibly seeing her for the last time, she decided to open up her letters and mail every single one of them. Better late than never right?

I've been bullied since as long as I can remember. Dark skin is so this or so that. And it seemed to get worse when I gained weight. "Now not only is she dark, she's fat too!" They go around just bullying everybody and anybody who makes them mad. What is worse is when a person is targeted at the school the whole school bully's them as well. One day Rosette decided it was enough and confronted Duke, the leader of the H3. After that, her whole life began to change.
