Can you keep a secret? That question has haunted Dapplepaw's dreams since she was made an apprentice four moons ago. Her clan, ShadowClan is notorious for keeping secrets. Dapplepaw, not so much because the need to blurt the secret out is much greater. By doing this, she is rarely told about anything and has to hear about it later when the other apprentices are bragging to each other.
Unable to stand it any longer she sets off on a quest to prove to her clan once and for all that she can keep a secret. Along the way dark truths will be uncovered and the strengths of secret keeping will be put to the ultimate test.
