When struggling teenage artist Ella Murphy accidentally draws a mystical symbol in the margins of her book, she is transported to a different world full of superheroes and villains. Jax and his roommates discover Ella and when she demonstrates superpowers given to her by this new world, they recruit her to help them figure out how she got in.
