Gerard is a very uncomfortable, shy teenager moving into a new house and has to go to a new school. Gerard also has to deal with depression cause of his dad leaving when he was only nine. Frank is a very troubled but timid teenager, his parents are always at work and they are emotionally abusing him. But when Gerard and Frank meet, something new happens between the both of them. They both learn about love and courage and how to care for other people, being Frank the only child, Frank usually only had to care for himself most of the time.This friendship starts out slow and develops drastically when a horrible accident happens to Frank.( Chapter 12) Will their friend ship still stay strong after this disaster?
