"I'll leave you alone." His words filled the tormenting silence, "After tonight you won't have to see me again, only in class and that's it." My heart ached at his words, why? This should be a good thing, I wouldn't have to deal with Alejandro Rodriguez ever again. So why... Why does the thought of him not being around hurt. I stopped playing with my food and slowly lifted my head to look at him. He stared straight into my watery eyes. His face filled with regret and concern. He stood up from his seat and walked over to me, squatting down to my level. "Hey, hey." He softly whispered his hands holding both of my mines, softly caressing them with his thumb.
