-A crown of stars book I-
Gilryn Locklore, a highborn Lady of the Elvin Court, is an unfathomable beauty that prefers to spend her days wandering around the dark and dangerous Everforest.

With five elder brothers, she is not quite what one would describe a proper young lady to be. She hunts, fishes and has learned to fight with the best of them, yet none of this has prepared her for the journey that is laid out for her.

Her father, King Garrik of Ellavorn, has promised her to the prince of a much darker country than that of her own. She is to be sold, blood-bound to a man she has only ever had hatred for, but she will not stand down, will not subject herself to her fathers careless wishes, and so; she runs...
She runs as far as the Everforest will allow her to traipse, only to discover a land she had no idea existed along with a people that entrap her in their dungeon.

What awaits Gilryn on her journey? Will her scorned Prince come to her aid, only to imprison her in a cell of his own, or will she find herself connected to a people... to a man who wears the moon upon his neck.

Light and Shadows (Thranduil's story post BOTFA) by Cineva999

The Elvenking is like a very strong, old tree, deeply rooted in the kingdom he pledged himself to protect. He also pledged himself to protect his heart from love, out of fear that it might weaken him, but that proved to be disastrous. Love... what daunting word rubbed in his face by that fearless redhead elleth during the battle in Dale. Is there any love left in him? Follows what happens with Thranduil and Tauriel after BOTFA, during the War of the Ring and further into the 4th Age. Mainly from Thranduil's POV and including canon events that are only briefly mentioned in the books. I try to respect the lore as much as I can. Apart from the romance, I wanted to explore Thranduil's character based on what we know about his life. Feedback and comments are much appreciated :) "His words were unforgiving again, hiding under the same cold tone he had for centuries, yet he could not believe them himself anymore. Tauriel was looking at him, her gaze seemingly piercing through his soul. His dream to restore Mirkwood to Greenwood and his thoughts of avenging his beloved wife were contradicting everything he said. He did not want to care yet every fibre of his being cared too much." "There was something else that Thranduil noticed in Celeborn's eyes: a combination of respect and admiration. 'You are strong, Thranduil. You are like one of the old Mirkwood trees, deeply rooted in the earth, that the centuries cannot wither. I always thought that, no matter what evil lies upon Arda, you will endure.' "As I laid on the filthy mat, my white hair fanning out like a halo around my head, I felt that ice inside of me fester. It grew and spread until it spanned across my entire body. It engulfed every thought inside my head, every feeling that was bubbling up inside of me. Like a virus. The cold quieted it all, until everything was still and silent... Until I felt nothing at all." Eira Gellert's world comes crumbling down as her sister is forced to leave for the army. Following the events of the Azriel bonus chapter... Extremely slow-burn sexy Elriel, angsty Az, forbidden love, glamorous parties, powers, and DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA. Smutty, sexy, angsty... NSFW -- Love? Friendship? Mistake. Shuddering into her sheets, she flung off the quilt and heaved a sigh. It WAS a mistake. Clearly she was broken. And it wasn't the cauldron that did it. It was her. Because SHE picked Grayson while still human and then Azriel after becoming fae. But all Elain kept receiving was rejection, rejection, rejection. If immortality was just filled with getting her heart broken into pieces once every couple years over and over and over... she didn't want it. She wanted safety. She wanted security. She wanted a love that was written in the stars, perfectly laid out for her, and safe to grasp ahold of. And that's when she realized it: she wanted fate... but more specifically... she wanted to live by the cauldron's decision. Because if she couldn't choose love for herself without getting her heart broken, then perhaps she should put her trust in the cauldron. But she would do it her way. The primal nature of a mating bond was fae enough... it needed some... grooming. Leaving the comfort of her quilts and standing up, she drew towards the window, overlooking the front lawn of the River Mansion. Looking out her window, Elain came to a decision, her eyes gliding across the Sidra as it wound its way through Velaris and out into the realm of the rest of the Night Court. Court. Courting. She would court Lucien Vanserra, trust the cauldron, and get the Hells out of the Night Court and away from these infernal shadows."

*Book Two* Lynx has been captured by Demien Crpyt, the ruler of Xoven and the one who needs her to answer all his burning questions. Her quest to save Seren, the love of her life, and Scorpius, the one who her soul is tied to, has failed. The only choice she had to make sure they wouldn't be killed was to make a deal with Demien to take her captive and spare them. But Demien betrayed her and sent his guards to kill everyone she loved. Now, Lynx has to decide whether she will give in and tell Demien all he wants to know or bite her tongue and wait for him to lose his patience. But the more Lynx thinks about it the more she doubts Scorpius and Seren are dead. For one thing, her golden thread is still intact, and her heart doesn't feel as broken as it would if Seren had died. She knows deep in her soul that they're both out there and may be searching for her. Will Lynx be able to hold on long enough for them to find her, to confirm if what she believes about them being alive is true? Or will her anger get the best of her, as well as her mouth, causing Demien to accept he will get nothing out of her and end her once and for all?
