Life was normal. It was good. But years went by and Lillith started contracting symptoms. Strange symptoms. Symptoms that made a group of men capture her and throw her in a ship dungeon. They whispered of wind and elements, and a wild prisoner who Lillith expected was herself. Because of these darn symptoms she knew she wasn't normal, she was an elemental, one who controlled wind.

Kala had always thought of herself as normal, but when the world ended, cleansed by a power most would fail to understand, she realized she was far from normal. That day, Kala awoke in a fog surrounded by a nothingness that permeated every pore of her body. The only sounds she could hear were her own ragged breaths in the vast and empty darkness. When the light finally returned, she found herself utterly alone and suddenly part of a struggle much bigger than she'd ever thought possible. With that struggle came something else...power. Power to control the elements. Power the likes of which she had only seen in movies or read about in books. Despite her disbelief, it remained...right there in the palms of her hands. Eventually Kala learned to use her power as it was intended. As she wandered the new world, she met others like herself, other Servants with similar abilities who understood the reason for the destruction...for the loss. And then, six years after her world turned upside down, she met him. A handsome stranger in a tiny town in the middle of the West Virginia woods - not a Servant - not like her. And certainly not the type of man Kala had expected to find herself falling for. But the man she met there turned out to be more than just a hero in her time of need. At her side, he would become a protector, leader, confidant, and so much more. Together, they would find themselves fighting a growing evil...a man like Kala, who had been granted power beyond words or description. He might have been a good man once, but his fall was nearly complete. And now he desired only to rule - not to heal. This man would lead a small army against them, but they wouldn't have to fight alone. There was another, more powerful force on their side...one that could change the course of the war to come.

*COPYRIGHT* Nicole Finch, a Fire Elemental with the ability to control the single Element of Fire. She's finally come of age to join a school for others like her. Where the people can control one of the main four elements: Fire, Water, Air or Earth, or the Half-Elements: Dust, Mist, Smoke or Ice. It's supposed to be a peaceful school where Elementals learn to control their powers. But a new danger has risen. Evil Elementals - a race of ancient Elementals that are thought to be extinct. Nocturna, a girl that once attended Elements Academy in secret is freed from her prison in the shadows and, with her abilities over the Evil Elements: Blood, Shadows, Lightning and Storms, she's wavering on the edge of sanity. Not to mention poor Nicole can't even use her ability. Is this peaceful school turning into a minefield? Copyright (c) RAVANNAH CROSS 2013 All Rights Reserved
