It took barely over a month for the epidemic to spread across the globe. Contrary to belief, the world didn't end with a bang and neither did it go quietly. No. It ended one scream at a time. A little more than a year has passed since the outbreak swept over the planet and annihilated a good portion of the living. Perri was one of the lucky ones who managed to evacuate with the military escorted buses in those early days of the spread. But, that luck didn't last. After one too many tragedies, she had decided to finally leave the, so called, "safe zone". With her main objective being the search for her best friend, she finds more than she bargained for. Her blood is death. Her blood is virulent. Her blood is life. Salvation is hers to give.

It all happened in one day. The nuclear explosion. The gas spilling out of the nuclear plant and poisoning people. The gas moving over the grave yard and the dead popping out a couple minutes later. People eating others. It's so much. I don't know if I will be able to survive.

After all that has happened, it seems the group has finally found a safe haven at The New Society. However, adjusting to their new lives won't be easy. And all is not what it seems in this new world.

The PR release says, "We have this under control," then follows the statement with vaguely scientific-sounding words. No one really buys it. That proves to be a wise decision. Never trust the official statement about something that is far too suspiciously bloody to be simply "under control". When all hell breaks loose, an ex-military war veteran and her soft-spoken bank employee not-really-boyfriend are forced to survive on their own. This is the story the world will neither hear nor tell. This is their story.

The world is in shambles after world war 3, the last group of civilised people left fight to stay alive under the oppressive rule of their leader when a new man inspires them to fight back, although after the rebellion it seems this man might not be who he says he is.

Quinn's final year of high school should've been her easiest one. But suddenly instead of focusing on her classes, she has to focus on staying alive. People she knows are infected and turned into flesh eating undead after a virus spreads rapidly through the world. Quinn can only watch her home fall into chaos as the city becomes overrun with the infected. As the world is claimed by the undead and hostile survivors, she is forced to learn how to survive.

It starts with a simple itch, nothing more. Maybe a few random spasms or the occasional shudder but you'll think nothing of it. Then you'll get blood shot eyes... Not enough sleep? It gets worse, much worse. The itching turns to scratching, clawing at you skin until it bleeds... and bleeds and bleeds. Then comes the anger which tips you over the top making you brake into a full blown seizure. Madness. You still with me? Well you won't be if they catch you, you'll be one of them...infected.
