This is a story about a world 50 years from our own world. Virtual Reality has been around for 39 years. Many things people do is based off of the Virtual Reality worlds. People do meetings there, go to school there, and a select few even live there. The blind can see, the deaf can hear, and the disable  can move. This story's main character is named Dillan Leon. Unlike most of the population he's never been in a VRMMO. His father and mother were always against it. He graduated college and moved in to his own house. He had never thought about try a VRMMO until a friend at work bought him a VR head gear for his 20th birthday. The world it came with was called Fairy Gardens. Dillan Leon joined the game and the world was never the same again. (The part that say Inflected People and Dead People are just for you the readers, that is not actual actually happening in the story.) If you don't understand something that is probably for a reason. I will explain every thing as the story continues.All Rights Reserved

People are running about, living their lives, and generally enjoying themselves with their new 'smart' devices, which, for better or for worse, are actually living up to their name. Finally. Enter outcast Vincent Schorennherr. Her parents [emphasis on her] parents wanted a boy, no luck on that account, and they let her know that every day. You think that's not so bad? Think again. "Sorry, Vincent, but you're going to school anyways, flu or no flu." Well, just before first period, a 'conveniently'-timed password-entry prompt pops on on her phone screen, right as she: 1) Presses the sensor, and 2): sneezes, spreading rhinoviruses all over herself and her phone. She wipes the phone off and goes to class,thinking nothing more of the incident until the next day, when she goes to turn it on and gets a kill screen: "Fatal Error 81-141. The flu's contagious, didn't you know that? Bye now, gone to play Caesar- Veni, vidi, vici and all that." With that, her phone blinks off, and within hours, other phones begin to follow suit. With panic on the rise, and global tensions rapidly following suit, can Vincent and her friends find the cure before it's hard shutdown? **NaNoWriMo 2017** Complete in the sense that I'll probably never write any more of this story. I might edit it someday, though. I had a decent idea when I started, but that quickly went out the window.

|| You probably think it was a typo in the title, but I meant to put that there for a reason || Read to find out ;) ____________________________________________________ A normal planet with a modern society, that is until 50,000 years ago, a strange meteorite crashed upon Earth and leaked its metallic liquid. The man who discovered it decided to make the metallic liquid into arrows. He then buried them underneath his homeland and in the year 2000, it was eventually discovered and monstrous beings called "Klaxosaurs" begin appearing. The arrows were a sign of hope as when exposed to the air, it chose which people to grant powers from. A visual manifestation of life energy to the user. Ordinary people cannot see it, but people who were granted with these powers can see it. It could not be harm by ordinary things, only other special people can hurt it. This was known as a Stranxx, and people who were granted these powers used it to kill the infestation of Klaxosaur. Some used it for good, some used it for bad but they didn't know that there would be a school just to train your Stranxx and fight Klaxosaurs. Thus we focus on our main protagonist, Hiro. He is Stranxxless but he has a dream, and that dream is to be known as the #1 Hero that destroys Klaxosaurs in one swoop. So he thinks that the program will help him fight the Klaxosaurs. Who knows what will happen.

Not knowing what was to come in the near future, with him making a profit off this game. With his extremely broken VRMMO character, which he gets in the near future. MMOs and RPGs in general, are all loved by Reitsu Yujitsu with no exaggeration. He spends everyday playing and leveling up. Yet still has time to go to school and hang out with his friends who are also very interested in games. Then, VRMMOs were introduced on the 18th of August and they were the new trend in society for gamers. Reitsu was very excited but all of the required equipment to play the game was sold out and he spent a week sulking in his room or in the corner of the classroom (he was forced to go to school), until he felt better. But, his all interesting friend, Rea Zia, gave him a present on his birthday which was on the 31st of August. A present which changed his life and the way he lived. He paid more attention to people now. Little did he know that this little difference would kill him the next time he encountered another alien about to return home. It would tear him apart, cell by cell, until he was unmade. His mind being transported away. --- So distantly far away there is a race that advanced to the point where they built dyson spheres to house their civilizations. In their continual expansion, they seeded galaxies with pods and connection satellites. Over time they upgraded their dyson spheres into matryoshka brain Cores. Imagine a computer powered by a star. Citizens of Cores no longer age once they upload their minds into the virtual living system of the Core. While they didn't age, most still choose to cycle through life and death though at a different scale of time compared to our lives. Citizens can visit other planets and live there as if they were on a "vacation". Mercury is Earth's hub connected to the closest Core and Earth is a remote vacation spot for wealthy citizens. When the main character was 10 he witnessed a citizen returning to the Core. The story continues 10 odd years later when he again witnesses a similar situation unfolding and manages to touch the person returning to the Core. This causes him to be swept up in the transfer as well and for his mind to join as a "Guest" user of the Core. As a Guest he has limited powers, a starting balance of zero cr or Citizen credits, and no idea how he can get home. He is the first human to ever become a Guest of a Core. Where money itself is the highest form of their science.

Our protagonist had no choice but to play solo during the closed beta test, but once the game officially launched, she made lots of friends (but not necessarily the player's friends), formed a huge clan (but not a clan of players), and matured as an individual. The title of this story was just completely random, at first. In the middle of writing the story, the title finally became relevant. While coming up with the story, the game's name was also random. There was no wordplay involved. But just remember: Curiosity killed the cat~ The star of this story does whatever she wants and treats all other players simply as sources of experience points.
