The packs had never been to war, mostly because few packs had the time to engage other packs in war while the rogues still travelled through their territories. Then out of nowhere a rogue pack rises and destroys a small pack on the border before retreating back into rogue territory. Years pass before a second attack on a larger pack is mounted and is successful.
During those years between attacks, the number of rogues in pack territories drops. No-one knows what's happened but few care. As the packs prepare for war, a lone she-wolf appears.

[Short Story, a little fast pace] "What are you doing in our territory, rogue?" The man snarls at me. "M-Me no b-bring h-harm." I whimper. The man laughs bitterly at me before grabbing me by the neck harshly. "I don't know what game you're trying to play you vile creature but this whole innocent act is going to get you nowhere." I gasp when he bares his teeth at me. "Don't worry, I'll put you out of your misery." I close my eyes, ready for the pain I was about to receive but...It never came. Instead a thunderous growl was heard from behind me. "What the hell is going on here?" The scary man's eyes widen in fear. "A-Alpha? S-She's a rogue and I was just trying to- "SILENCE!" The world went into a disarray when the Werewolves came out of hiding, the Government declared war and everything went up in flames. Families were torn apart, hundreds died on both sides. Fade had been a young girl when all this came about, her father had taken her and fled. Teaching her everything she would need to know, he did what any good father would have done. Protect.
