    Alecto spent most of her life with the crimson red fires of Hell and the dark burdening shadows of guilt that came with her job as a Goddess of Vengeance. So when she finds herself banished, stuck between Hell and Earth in the small town of Greendale, she is left isolated, batting alone in a war against all the enemies she has ever made. Desperate for help, Alecto seeks protection from Sabrina Spellman, the only other person who could understand the struggles of being trapped between two worlds. In the midst of fighting for her life, Alecto is forced to adapt to the views of her new allies, and to learn what it is to feel love when all she has ever known is the tenebrosity of death.
