Eventually he gets blamed for a crime he didn't do, he gets problems with some gangsters, but in a desperate attempt to escape them his car blows up, Lupa has to drag him into a lake to heal him. But because it's full moon, he becomes a werewolf. All because some really bad brother.

"Tomorrow you will have a visitor, and you mad her angry, and you are going to pay, Perseus. You are going to pay."
