William Adams has already had a first-year at college, but after an incident at the school, he and his family moved away from the area, in search for a fresh start. So here he is, restarting the first year in a new college. After everything, all he wants is to keep his head down and make it through the first year and hopefully into the second. He just wants to go to class, make a friend or two and live without looking over his shoulder. But sometimes the past has a horrible way of following you, no matter how much you try to hide it. No matter how much you try to move forward, there is always someone who can't let the past just be. But William's secret isn't one he's ashamed of, not at all. He has never hurt anyone, never bullied, lied or cheated. His past is just painful. He isn't ashamed, he's scared. He wants a fresh start, a chance to be happy, but there is always someone who wants to ruin that.
