Dark Passion (On Hold)

Lileigh had always known that she wasn't your average girl in the crowd. She was crazy beautiful, was as fast as a cheetah, and could put the beat-down on any boy in their school- in fact, she beat the fifteen year old, 210 pound, wrestling champ at her school when she was twelve. Every human being in the school who saw her dare not mess with her, with the exception of her best friends Natalia, Cicely, Arella, Embry, and Lucan. Together, they ruled the school, striking fear into anyone who stepped out of line. Heck, they didn't even need a principal to get along at Loogoote High.

Lileigh is comfortable right where she is. She has a spot as a flyer on the cheer squad, team captain of the gymnastics team and the dance team, student body president, and has perfect grades. She doesn't have a boyfriend, nor is she interested in one- that is, until Breighton came into her life.

Breighton seems to have the same problems as her- crazy strength, speed of light, and by dang, if he isn't hotter than a Bhut Jolokia chili pepper. He also doesn't back down to Lileigh or the gang.

Liliegh is absolutely baffled by Breighton. He is the epitome of perfect, as she was. At times, it seems that he is totally into her, and the next he is brushing her off to play other girls. Talk about hot and cold. The most confusing part is that he keeps saying that he knows her secret.

Then, on a Friday night, Lieigh comes face to face with her true opponent- a full-fledged demon blood. Soon after the bloodbath comes the truth- Lileigh is a slayer. And so is Breighton. Oh, and her best friends aren't so human after all- they're werewolves, angel-bloods, Mai, and vampires. Oh, the joy of surprises.

Her life becomes more and more complicated as terrifying enemies start seeking her out and she starts to inevitably fall for Breighton.

But the worst has yet to come, and when it does, it will only mean death and destruction.
