The human race is almost completely annihilated by self imposed nuclear oblivion.
The only known living relic of the old world is the president of the United States, his young son and a small faction of his government. They must become the foundation upon which a new order is to be built.
Many unforeseen challenges await them on their quest for the return of civilisation, order and the freedom which America was once built upon.
Will they survive the many challenges that there new surroundings will throw at them? Will they succeed in their mission? Read on and find out!

It's only getting worse for some, as their cities that are supposed to be providing for them are failing to do so. Survivors Wesly and Valentine aren't content with this, however, especially since Val's mother desperately needs life-saving medicine that the city just won't send. With no other options, the two journey outside the wall to study the monsters beyond, selling the information they find to the city in exchange for their support.
