There was a story of a girl, a girl named Alina...
She believed to have been a "cursed one" and got her parents killed... or at least that's what she remembers being told, of course...that was by the same people who killed them.
-although she believed this, almost 100% of the wolf shifters' population believed she was a blessing, and although her parents WERE killed, they believed their time in this world was cut short so Alina could be stronger. one day, their death would lift the veil so she could see how many people are TRULY with her, and ready to go through hell alongside her. Unfortunately, because they passed when Alina was at such a young age, she was hidden from the world for a long long time, taken, by those same murderers who took not only her parents, but even her pack. Because of that she never really knew what her parents, her pack, or even she could do.-
Then there's the Alpha of the Royal shadow pack, make no mistake, he's nowhere closely related to royalty, but his family had been in charge of the protection of a good chunk of the wolf population for over 700 thousand years. Once, the pack was ruled by a cruel and unjust alpha, but his beta, who was mated to that cruel alpha's sister, overtook the alpha position, But in doing so had to kill the cruel alpha. Thankfully this beta's mate knew how lost her brother was and in killing him set the pack and thousands of wolves free from his cruel ways, of course even the moon goddess rewarded the former beta and his mate for their loyalty to her and in protecting so many lives, the moon goddess blessed their bloodline with a gift, a certain magic.
(so what happens when their blood history brings these two together?

or will she be swept into the darkness and in doing so both be forced against each other to protect or destroy what the moon goddesses have built up for centuries)
