His life used to be normal. He misses being normal.
Now it's just a life full of battles against other group members underground. A battle of factions and being on the top to rule over the base. Even a full on war on who should be the 'real' leader. He'll be a little cliche and describe this as 'something that's breaking the group apart from the inside.'
He'll admit, he's been trying to stop this with other factions that don't want to take part but it isn't going exactly as planned. You can only trust a few people here.
He wants it to stop already. He just wants peace and balance. For them to work freely and in a just manner. But, of course, freedom isn't supposed to be free.

"We caused the end of the world. Turns out it's easier than you might think it is. All you need is a group of eco anarchists and an ounce of magic, and the world goes down in a poof." After another manic episode, Phoenix gets written off his parents' will, and he's trying to find a reason to keep living. Causing the end of the world and being the only one who can save the world wasn't exactly what he had in mind. Phoenix wasn't meant to have magical abilities, and he most definitely shouldn't have been able to make all the money in the world disappear just by thinking about it. To make matters worse, it came with a minor side effect: a disease called Gold fever. In other words, people started to turn into gold. Over the course of a single day, Phoenix becomes the most hated person in the world. As the economy collapses around them, only three of his friends are willing to stay by his side. Their job is to keep Phoenix alive while he tries to make money reappear and find a cure to Gold fever. Which turns out to be more challenging than they thought, as they find out someone is tailing Phoenix with the intention to kill.Complete

It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. As Najwa mourns both her mom and the loss of her closest friend, Rain can't tear his gaze away from the golden remnants of their enemies and Rio does their best to keep everyone fed and healthy. Aspen isn't much help, not when he is holed up in his room, terrified of the power he holds. It's been said that you only realize the importance of someone when they're gone. Whether or not that is true, Aspen would give his life to get Phoenix back. There's guilt, undoubtedly, but also the fact that he has a huge crush on him. They have never even had the chance to kiss or confess their feelings, and that's just tragic. But hey, there's always a chance for a long-distance relationship. As you might imagine, the connection from one world to another isn't ideal. But if they can make it work, there's a chance to return Phoenix and the rest of the infected back to life.Complete
