Ava is your average city girl. Busy, hard working, but even the slightest part of her busy mind can't get her away from the terrible secret she has been hiding from everyone.
Ava is a nurse at the downtown London hospital, called St. Marybeth's. She loves her job, and it felt like everything was easy. That was until she got a new patient in room 204. She tries to stay away from the patient, but has to tend to her. The little girl is a nine year old named hope who has neuroblastoma, which is a cancer common in children, that allows cancer cells to spread in the body tissue. One day, Ava has to bring Hope her lunch. She walks into the room and sees Hope peacefully sleeping. She sets her tray down and starts to walk out of the room when she hears a tiny weak voice call out, "are you here to read to me?"
Hope can be Ava's chance to reveal her secret and let go of it, but could Hope really the bad guy, or is it just Ava.All Rights Reserved

She loves what she does and helps her patients take their mind off of the darker things, especially Ava. She would always make Ava feel some type of way without her knowing it and it always made Ava feel like she wasn't even sick at all, which is why Ava had a secret crush on her, hating the fact that it won't last that long...
