Naruto
A naruto au. Sasuke Uchiha considers himself very independent, strong willed, fearsome even. But when his mother calls, he better start running. Homeschooled for most of middle school and freshman year, he lost touch with his friends at Konoha highschool, except of course with the hyperactive number 1 knucklehead blond Naruto. One rare morning his mother tells him to run to the high school and deliver some papers to Itachi that he forgot. Never one to disobey his mother, he goes ahead and does it, thinking it only would be mildly inconvenient and agitating. He didn't think he'd see a pink haired girl staring out the window looking lost to the world.

The Fourth Hokage's body was never found, but they never suspected that was because he hadn't died. Minato Namikaze wakes up six years after the devastating Kyuubi attack, alone in an overgrown clearing with not a scratch on him. Disoriented and confused, he does exactly what any father would do in this situation. He fights through the pain, gets up, and goes to find his son. He trudges through the pounding in his head and forces himself to move-- to go and find him, because that masked man was still out there, and Minato is willing to do anything to protect his little ball of sunshine. Needless to say, the blonde kage wasn't expecting so much time to have passed. Nor is he very impressed with the way the village has been treating his son all these years.
