Hayley has always wanted to be normal. Normal enough, where people didn't pity her, she could finish high school, could get married, and live out her life.
But Hayley was far from normal. She has leukemia, and has been battling it since she was eleven years old. She's tried chemotherapy, and everything that the hospital could think of, every medication known to man. For a little while it worked, but the cancer just kept coming back, and there was nothing the hospital could do anymore...
When the doctor informs Hayley's family that Hayley was expected to die, in a few month's time. They decide that the best thing to do, would be to take one last vacation, before their beloved daughter, and sister, is gone.
They end up spending the summer in Hawaii, and there Hayley meets Drew.
There, things get messy. Drew falls in love with Hayley, and though Hayley tries to stop herself, she falls in love with Drew as well.
Drew thinks what they have will last forever. Because something about them really just clicked, everything was perfect, their connection, their chemistry.
They even happen to live within thirty minutes of one another.
But Hayley can't hide that she is dying much longer...
They say true love last forever, but with Hayley, it may be a different story.
