Avarice Academy is one of the best, most prestigious and most expensive schools in the entire world- And when Robin and her twin brother Peregrine are offered scholarships, they can't wait to get on the plane and rush off to Ireland to start. Though, not everything seems to be so perfect when they get there and meet their roommate; Oliver Roscoe- A condescending, seemingly emotionless, ginger-haired teenage boy with an accent and a chip in his shoulder.

Unbeknownst to them at first, they just entered a world where arranged marriages are the norm, and family rivalries end in bloodshed. As they navigate this new social construct, they both make new friends and new enemies. Will they realise that a war of power and pride is about to start before it's too late to return to their normal lives?

Or will they stand their ground even though they're nameless- And therefore powerless, in a world based on a hierarchy of surnames called the 'Twelve Descendants.'

But if they truly were so out of place, how were they the catalyst to set it all off?

"Death before dishonour.
From power your name has risen.
With your crown they worship your ground,
If you use you're voice they will listen.
But if you leave, you will not be found,
If you cut all ties they disappear forever.
It is your most important decision."

The Tall Tales of Daphne Monroe by ReelingRoses
30 parts Complete
Daphne Monroe believed her life had taken a turn for the worst when her mother passed away three years ago. But she was wrong, as nothing could have prepared her for her father's mad decision to buy a run down old pub in some seaside village an hour or so from London, taking her younger brother and their crazy Granddad Tony who still believes he is in the war, though Daphne has no idea which one, and Daphne away from their childhood home and changing her life forever. Daphne also suddenly finds herself attending an elite boarding school as a day timer, courtesy of the maternal grandparents she has never met. There she meets Eddie, Fiona, Alex and Jade, four teenagers who will quickly become her closest friends and her guides to the world she had found herself fallen into. A world where house parties are held in country manors, teachers all have pompous public school nicknames and the students have helicopters to run them around at the weekends. It's a world where Princes and royalty are not just main figures in tabloids and imagination, but actual students alongside Daphne and her friends. And there is one in particular who has caught the eye of Daphne Monroe, Prince Théo from the year above. Swoon worthy, indeed. Follow Daphne's journey in this bare-all novella told through her personal minute-by minute-diary, her very thought process, with no holds barred in regards to humour, emotion, friendship and love as she tries to navigate this new world in front of her.

Arcadian

36 parts Complete

Arcadian (adj.) idyllically innocent; simple and untroubled by fear or worry. Harper Flores is the human embodiment of a ray of sunshine. She's kind, understanding and always willing to put other's needs in front of her own. To the outside world Harper is seen as naive and innocent, without a care in the world but she's hiding a secret. The girl that loves everyone unconditionally hates herself. Her mother, not wanting to deal with Harper's declining mental health ships her across the country to a secluded boarding school in the small village of Cartmel, England. Due to her late arrival half way through the school year, Harper is forced to stay in the boy's dorm and share a room with six roommates. Keeping a low profile is almost impossible, especially when she catches the eye of all six boys. Lucian Cruz, an arrogant, rude fuckboy who feels no remorse for the girls he's used and ignored. After being sent to Willow Hall Academy with his twin brother Emilio two years ago by his parents who were trying to protect them from the dangerous realities of being involved in the mafia, Lucian's behaviour takes a rapid downfall. Ignoring school work to party and smoke, Lucian really has no care in the world. That is until a bubbly ball of sunshine moves into his room, disrupting his peace.
