Originally I wrote this book with a coauthor who I'm no longer friends with, and the characters still talk to me so I'm rewriting it without any of her characters in it anymore, to write the plot that I had wanted to write. It's the first in a five book series, focusing on the struggles between an oppressed group of humans who summon elemental demons and the priests who want to destroy them.
